Ah den4-sama, has it been a over a year since you last posted? That can't be true... But then again my concept of time is also convulted.

We could yell, scream and protest about the gas prices but they are here to stay to fill the greedy pockets of the oil industry. Already they are devising "excuses" to raise the prices once again come summer time.

"Based on studies we predict a terrible hurricane season that would raise the price of oil."

"Due to civil un-rest in *insert offending country here* OPEC has decided to reduce production for employee safety."

Anyway it doesn't matter what excuse they come up with. Those guys employ spin doctors that would have the general public believe anything.

actually, as long as peepo use plastics from petro, the gas prices ain't gonna go down any.....namely because of increased consumption by China and India...at least until they are able to use some form of new sources for plastics....

Well, I saw something on 20/20 talking about how the top three economists (having recieved Nobel prizes, btw) think that price guaging on gas is actually good for the economy in the long run.

economists are like the soothsayers on the checkout stand tabloids....if you make enough predictions, somebody is going to say something that comes out right....it's like throwing darts against the target board....you get lucky every now and then....even with no skills :p
